The Birth of the International Podcast Alliance

The IPA emerged from a strategic partnership between France’s PIA (Syndicat des Producteurs Professionnels et Indépendants de l’Audio) and the UK’s AudioUK, two leading professional organizations in the European audio landscape.

Together, they envisioned a platform to:

  • Strengthen international dialogue among podcast producers and publishers
  • Share market insights and industry trends
  • Address common challenges affecting creators, such as legal recognition, fair revenue sharing, and access to funding

Founding Members and Global Reach

The alliance is already truly international, with founding members including:

“Some answers will be found locally, but many of tomorrow’s solutions will have to be built together, at an international level.”

Leadership Voices: Driving Collaboration
