Revisiting the World of Lumon Industries

Severance transports viewers to Lumon Industries, a shadowy corporation where employees undergo a surgical procedure to separate their personal and professional memories. This “severance” creates dual lives: one solely dedicated to work and the other oblivious to it.

At the heart of the story is Mark (played by Adam Scott), who leads a team of severed employees as they uncover the mysteries of their workplace and their true identities.

Ben Stiller and Adam Scott humorously described their experience creating the show:

“We have severed ourselves from the world for five years making this show. While we have no memory of what happened during that time, we thought we should do a podcast for all the Innies who will have no recollection of watching, in an attempt to reintegrate them with their memory of the show. We’re happy not to be working with Lumon Industries on this podcast.”
