Sound.Waves. 2025: Music, Podcasting & Creativity Unite in Adare, Limerick
This November, the picturesque village of Adare, County Limerick will become the heartbeat of creativity and innovation as it welcomes Sound.Waves. 2025 — a groundbreaking new summit uniting the worlds of music, podcasting, and content creation.
Taking place at the Woodlands House Hotel & Spa on 12 and 13 November, the two-day event aims to elevate Ireland’s creative industries onto the global stage, while reinforcing Adare’s growing reputation as a hub for innovation, talent, and storytelling — particularly as the region gears up to host the 2027 Ryder Cup.
Supported by Limerick.ie, Sound.Waves. promises to be Ireland’s most ambitious gathering of musicians, podcasters, producers, marketers, and industry visionaries.
Created by Alexis Vokos, Willie Ryan, and Jim Lawless, alongside Joe Clarke and Colm Hanley, Sound.Waves. builds upon the respected legacy of Music Cork, which last ran in 2019.
However, this new summit takes the concept further — transcending traditional music industry boundaries to explore the synergy between music and the rapidly expanding podcasting ecosystem.
According to organiser Colm Hanley:
“Both music and podcasting are built on storytelling, audience connection, and the challenge of standing out in a crowded digital world. Sound.Waves. brings those sectors together to share ideas, strategies, and spark new collaborations about the future of creative business.”
