We are seeking a talented Audio Editor to join our dynamic team at The Mel Robbins Podcast. This person will play an important role in the creation of captivating content that inspires and motivates millions of people around the world. We are looking for a candidate who will also have an excellent sense of direction, strong work ethic, and a keen ear. You will be responsible for focusing on audio within the podcast episode’s overall production of audio, video, and podcast/social media videos.

Responsibilities: Edit audio podcast episodes with clear guidance and direction from the show’s Executive Producer, Director of Post Production, and the Project Manager Occasionally be enlisted to assist with other basic audio editing functions Collaborate with podcast team to assist in the execution and finalization of episodes Receive and implement clear editing feedback

Qualifications: 3–5 years of podcast audio editing experience Knowledge of audio editing software: Pro Tools and/or Descript (requirement) Experience in editing two-way, long-form podcast interviews with a strong attention to detail Sound communication and interpersonal skills required Capability of working and communicating within a workflow with set deadlines The ability to work well with diverse audiences Manage workload independently at times, and oversee ongoing projects concurrently.
